This document provides step-by-step instructions for adding a new email account as
part of email and network services provided by Infnity AccessNET. This guide should
enable you to configure your email using the information provided to you by Infinity-At-Home.
Back to the Main Configurations Guide
- Open Windows Mail. Click on Tools menu. Select Accounts.
- (There may or may not be other accounts already configured on your system. If you do not need them, you can select them and choose Remove.) To configure your Infinity-At-Home account click the Add button and select E-mail Account. Click Next.
- Enter your name in the Display name field. (Example: John Smith) Click Next.
- Enter your email address in the E-mail address field. (Example: jsmith@infinityathome.net). Click Next.
- Select POP3 as your incoming mail server type. Incoming POP3 server is mail.infinityathome.net and the outgoing SMTP server is smtp.infinityathome.net. Click Next.
- Enter your email user name in the E-mail username field. This is usually everything before
the @ symbol. (Example: jsmith if your email address is jsmith@infinityathome.net) Enter
your password in the Password field and click on the Remember password box if you
don't want to enter your password to get your mail. Click Next.
- You will see the Congratulations Screen. Click Finish.
